Well, I might as well write this while it's still fresh in my mind.  Ninja Scroll is a crazy ninja movie with lots of ninjas running around, killing things.  Unfortunately, Ninja Scroll also had quite a bit of pointless sex, not a good thing for a cartoon, in my opinion.

          This movie is about a guy named Jubei who gets unwillingly recruited by an old man type ninja guy, who works for the government, to help him out by killing off demons and stuff.  With these two travels Kagero, a ninja who poisons anyone who touches her.  Off they go to defeat the eight demon bad guys and save the day!  Weeee!

          I like this anime.  Having taken a chance and buying it today from Best Buy, I was a little nervous, despite the good things I'd heard about it.  But, after me and my "home doggs" watched it, we agreed that it was very cool.  There was lots of cool ninja action, crazy things and dealies all over the place, great animation and a cool good guy.  Unfortunately, those crazy Japanese guys over there couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to put in loads and loads of pointless sex and crap like that, whoopty doo!  At these points in the movie, we all just kinda went,"Ummm... right."

          Everything that you may have heard about this movie being great is not exaggerated in the least, its badass my friend.  A badass anime that is, in my opinion, tarnished by horny Japanese guys who are pissed off because porn is illegal in Japan.

Genre - action/ninja/scroll...

Animation - I nearly crapped my pants when I saw how good the animation and artwork was, especially considering how I wasn't expecting much in that department.

Sub vs. Dub - I never watched the sub, but I probably should

the Good - Jubei, the animation, the old guy and lots of ninjas.

the Bad - Gratuitous sex and the fact that when someone is cut up, their blood shoots out like it's under pressure.

Overall - Get it.  It is most likely the best ninja anime you will see until they start listening to my friends and I about how to make good movies.  I am definitely not disappointed.  I would've given it a higher rating, but for all the wacky cartoon sex.
