Phantom Quest Corps. Is about a woman and who runs a business that
specializes in dealing with supernatural phenomenon.
The DVD consists of 4 episodes and I again get the feeling that the shows
is based on a manga series, even though I don’t really care to check.
The animation quality of the show was surprisingly good, as was the
overall artwork, which made me happy because of my severe disappointment over
Ninja Cadets. Anyway, PQC was quite
enjoyable, it was funny, had good characters, good dubbing and was just plain
entertaining. The 4 episode limit
was also well done, as they ended the show before the novelty of catching ghosts
and the like got old. Surprisingly,
the animators also did an excellent job on the fight sequences, much better than
I’ve seen in many anime movies dedicated solely to fighting.

Overall
- a very good show that actually benefits from being short, as the premise
may get old after a while, but it's got action, comedy and everything else to
keep you interested |
