This show went and surprised me with it’s goodness.
It’s not that it has a wondrous plot or exceptional characters, but it
is just good all around. The reason
I was so impressed was because I wasn’t expecting much.
The story is that there was a bunch of fancy civilizations back in the
day, and now they’re toast. So,
there are now adventurers called Ruin Explorers who go along and search for
treasure in these ruins of the past.
The animation is very nice, as is the artwork and character designs.
Hell, the character designs almost made me want to change the format of
the online comic Keenspace has yet to allow me to start into a fantasy setting
just so I could draw neat-o armor and weapons.
The action and magic stuff is also well done, and the sword fights and
battles also seem more realistic than a show like this should have, which Is a
good thing. The characters are also
well done, and the show manages to make none of them annoying, even when dubbed.
As I said before, it’s not a masterpiece, but it is a well done and
entertaining show, much more than a whole lot of other shows that are more
popular…
